Violets grown with Optimara Violet Food have won over 200 gold medals. It is the only fertilizer used by Holtkamp Greenhouses, the largest grower of African Violets in the World. Optimara Violet Food is a fully-dissolving fertilizer specially formulated for African Violets, but works wonderfully for any blooming house plants. It provides your flowers with the essential nutrients they need to produce vigorous roots, greener leaves and fuller, longer lasting blooms. This Violet Food does not contain urea so it will NOT cause root burn.

Simply mix 1/2 teaspoon (Included) in a gallon of water and water plants as normal. The solution is diluted enough to be used each time you water for continuous feeding. A plastic gallon water or milk jug is an ideal mixing, watering and as a storing container. Mixed solution is shelf stable and can be used for many waterings.

Stain Risk: This plant food includes a slight blue coloring to show a mixed solution. Coloring will stain fabrics or other surfaces.
